On January 12-13, 2023, Anna Yakovleva, a representative of the AEMK NN IEE department from the scientific group “Chemological reliability and energy-saving technologies in energy and transport” was delegated to participate in a series of meetings on the basis of the General Directorate for Research and Innovation of the European Commission together with leading representatives of the economy of Ukraine – ANTRONOV, Ivchenko-Progress ANTK. The meetings were devoted to the implementation of current and future research projects with the support of the European Union (EU).
Thus, on January 12, 2022, the Ukrainian delegation met with representatives of the European Commission to discuss a number of strategic issues, such as the current state and prospective directions of the aviation industry in Ukraine, the reconstruction and development of the Ukrainian economy and energy in the post-war period, support and development of the potential of Ukrainian scientific and research and development institutions through involvement in the implementation of joint projects financed by EU funds, participation and assistance of the EU in the reconstruction of Ukraine. Among others, the representatives of the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission Jane Amilhat – Head of the “Industry of the Future with Low Emissions” unit, Natalia Dolya – Policy Officer, Niclas Dzikus – Research and Innovation Analyst of the “Industry of the Future with Low Emissions” unit took part in the meeting low level of emissions”, Felix Hugues – project manager of the Horizon Program. As a result of the meeting, the Ukrainian partners received undeniable and complete support and assistance.
On January 13, the AEMK NN IEE presentation was presented, and based on the results, our representatives received an individual invitation to participate in the EFACA (Environmentally friendly aviation for all types of aircraft) project. During the meeting, the project participants received valuable advice and instructions from the manager, discussed a detailed work plan for the project implementation period and for the next six months in particular, and agreed on joint actions to achieve the project’s goals. A work plan is currently being developed.
