The policy, standards and procedures for observing academic integrity are determined by: the Code of Honor of KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi ( https://kpi.ua/code ), Regulations on the system of prevention of academic plagiarism ( https://osvita.kpi.ua/node/47 ), Regulations on the Ethics and Academic Integrity Commission of the Scientific Council of KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi ( https://kpi.ua/files/etic_comission.pdf ), Procedure for establishing the facts of violation of academic integrity in KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi ( https://document.kpi.ua/2022_HY-165 ), normative and regulatory documents on the development of a culture of academic integrity and prevention of plagiarism at KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi ( https://kpi.ua/academic-integrity ).

The main technical means of combating violations of academic integrity is the Unicheck program (https://kpi.ua/unicheck ).

According to the Regulation on the system of prevention of academic plagiarism ( https://osvita.kpi.ua/node/47 ), the following course projects/works are subject to plagiarism check within the framework of the OP (selectively, according to the decision of the department, at the stage of admission to defense); master’s theses at the stage of admission to defense; manuscripts of monographs, textbooks and study guides, which have the author’s text, recommended for publication by the Academic Council of the University, at the stage of presentation of works materials for consideration at the department meeting; manuscripts of articles, theses of reports, which are submitted to the editors of scientific journals or organizing committees of conferences, seminars, etc., at the stage of submitting the work by the author for consideration for publication.
