SHULHA YURIY IVANOVYCH

Deputy Head of the Energy Security Department of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine

He was born in 1945 in the village of Semenivtsi, Poltava region. In 1972 he graduated from KPI with a degree in “Automation and Electrification of Mining”, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of Power Supply, has more than 100 scientific papers, including several books and inventions. He began his career in 1963 as a senior laboratory assistant at the Economic Research Institute of the State Plan of the USSR. After graduating from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, he worked as an engineer, researcher, assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor, deputy head of the Department of Power Supply KPI.
Since 1996, Yu.I. Shulga works at the State Committee for Energy Conservation of Ukraine as the head of the Department of State Inspections and Expertise.
After a break, in May 1999 he headed the Department of Financial and Economic Policy, which when the structure was changed in 2000 was renamed the Department of Energy Saving Strategy and Economic Policy. Since July 2001, Yu.I. Shulga was appointed by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 05.07.01 № 456/2001 to the position of the Chairman of the State Committee for Energy and Saving of Ukraine, which he successfully headed until October 2004.
With the direct participation of Yu.I. Shulga developed and issued 20 regulations. He participated in the establishment of the State Inspectorate for Energy Saving, state enterprises “Central Agency for Energy Inspections” and “Coordination Center of the National Energy Saving Information Network”, as well as in the development of a methodological framework for the operation of these enterprises. As a member of CGEA, he organized the work of almost 200 enterprises and organizations in the energy audit system. With his participation, for the first time in 2000, the “Energy Saving Week” was organized, which has become a tradition.
In 2005 he worked as an adviser to the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, then as a state expert and later as Deputy Head of the Energy Security Department of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, where he still works.

He was born in 1959 in the town of Torez, Donetsk region. After graduating from KPI in 1983, he was awarded the qualification of electrical engineer in the specialty “Electrification and automation of mining.”

In 1983-1985 he worked at the mine. Lutugina VO “Torezantratsit” (Torez, Donetsk region) electrician, deputy head of the station, senior mechanic of stationary equipment. In 1985-1991 – Inspector, Leading Inspector of the Department for Supervision of Subsoil Use and Protection of the State Hydrotechnical Supervision of the Ukrainian SSR. During 1992 he worked as a leading engineer of the department of scientific and technical support, preparation of standards and expertise of the technical department of the State Hydrotechnical Supervision of Ukraine, and in 1993 a leading specialist of the sector of coal industry, fuel supply and mining supervision of the fuel and energy complex of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In the 1993-1994 academic year he was a student of the Institute of Public Administration and Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

From March 1994 to March 2000 he worked in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as Chief Specialist, Deputy Head of the Fuel and Energy Complex Department, Deputy Head of the Fuel and Energy Complex Department, Head of the Coal Industry, Fuel Supply and Mining Supervision Sector, Deputy Head Department of State Policy in the fuel and energy sector.

CAT VOLODYMYR  IVANOVYCH

He was born on November 27, 1926 in the village of “Peasant Sloboda” Chernihiv region, in 1936 moved to the city of Chernihiv. From December 1943 he served in the active army, was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree, the Medal of Merit and many other medals. In 1946 he was demobilized, graduated from high school with a silver medal and in 1948 joined the KPI.

In 1953 he graduated from the KPI Mining Faculty with honors and was sent to work at the Konotop plant “Red Metalist”, where he went from designer to director and general director of the plant. For 23 years of work at the Red Metalist plant he was awarded three orders of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1973 he was awarded the title of Laureate of the State Prize for the creation of gas control equipment in mines.

In 1970 he defended his dissertation at KPI. He has 42 copyright certificates for inventions. In 1976 he was transferred to Moscow, where for 12 years he headed the All-Union Industrial Associations, first “Soyuzvugleavtomatika” (which, incidentally, he created), then “Soyuzvuglemapi”, for which in 1986 he was awarded the Order Badge of Honor “, and was also awarded the title of” Honored Engineer of Russia “.

From 1992 to 1995 he worked in the Ministry of Coal Industry of Ukraine as a chief specialist.

LEPORSKY  VOLODYMYR  DMYTROVYCH

Born in 1939, he graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1963 with a degree in mining electrical engineer; he defended his dissertation in 1966.

Since 1974, V.D. Leporsky is appointed head of the department of power plants. Under his leadership, a new direction in scientific research was formed – the development of the theory, methods and means of automated and automatic control of large power facilities and systems. In 1974-1997, a number of theoretical and applied problems were solved within this area, the main of which are the assessment and forecasting of parameters of power consumption systems, identification of transients in power systems, power system management to maintain urban atmosphere quality, coordination and optimization of EEC in conditions of uncertainty, construction of distributed decision-making systems using micro-computers, design of hierarchical control systems in the power industry,

According to the results of research VD In 1987, Leporsky defended his doctoral dissertation on “Theoretical foundations, methods and tools for automatic control of large power systems.” In 1989 he was awarded the academic title of professor.

In the process of scientific research, an automated power management system was developed, which was implemented at the Beloruskaly plant, the Uralasbest plant, the Saturn NGO (Kyiv) and other organizations.

He was born in 1927 in Kyiv. He graduated from KPI in 1951. Since 1956 he has been working as a lecturer and associate professor (1961), professor of the department of automation of mining industry (1973), head of the department of electric drive and automation of industrial plants (1975), dean of electric power (1975-1978) and electrical engineering. 1978-1988) faculties.

He defended his dissertation in 1960, his doctoral dissertation in 1973. He works on a doctoral dissertation, trains scientific personnel through graduate school, published more than 80 scientific papers, 2 textbooks, more than 20 methodological developments, for more than 10 years was a member of the special council for the dissertation.

NESEN LARISA IVANOVNA

Associate Professor, Deputy Director of IEE NTUU “KPI” for educational work

She was born in 1946. After graduating with honors in 1971 from the Faculty of Mining Electromechanics and Automation KPI with a degree in “Electrification and Automation of Mining” was left at the Department of Power Supply, where she worked as an engineer, junior researcher, and since 1974 – teaching assistant, senior lecturer , associate professor. Since 2001 she has been working as the Deputy Director of IEE NTUU “KPI” for educational work, from 1996 to 2003 she was the Scientific Secretary of the Academic Council of IEE.

In scientific work he specializes in the development of distributed systems of automated control of energy consumption of industrial enterprises, deals with algorithmic and software tasks of reactive power control, has 36 publications, including 24 scientific, 12 educational and methodological and 1 state standard.

He teaches the course “Transients in power supply systems” for students of all forms of education in two specialties. For three editions (1989, 2000, 2003) of the textbook “Transients in power supply systems” Nesen LI co-authored the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology in 2005.

SHEVCHUK STEPAN PROKOPOVYCH

Born in 1949, he graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1972 with a degree in Automation and Electrification of Mining. He worked at the mine “Western Donbass” of the plant “Pavlogradugol”, at the Institute of Automation (Kyiv). Since 1973 – graduate student of the Department of Automation of Mining Industry of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. In 1975 he defended his dissertation on the specialty “Automation of technological processes in the mining industry.” He worked at KPI as a senior researcher (1976), assistant (1977-1979), in 1980 he received the title of associate professor at the Department of Power Supply.

Since 1989 – Head of the Department of Mining Electromechanics, which was later renamed the Department of Electromechanical Equipment of energy-intensive industries.

In 1997 he defended his doctoral dissertation on “Mining Machines”, a specialist in technical diagnostics and reliability of mining machines, developed and implemented in engineering practice methods of rapid diagnostics and energy-saving management of powerful pumping stations of mining enterprises.

He was born on May 6, 1948 in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region. In 1972 he graduated from the Faculty of Mining Electromechanics and Automation of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in “Automation and Electrification of Mining”.

He began his career in March 1972 as an engineer at the Department of “Electrification and Automation of Mining”, then was a senior researcher, graduate student, assistant. Since 1982, after defending his dissertation, he has been working as an associate professor of the power supply department. In February 1986, Prokopenko VV awarded the academic title of associate professor. In 1987-1988 he worked as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education. From 1988 to 1991 he went to teach in Cambodia.

During 1997-1998 he participated as an expert in energy management in the implementation of the Project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) “Energy Efficiency in Industry of Ukraine”. In 2001-2002, together with Bulgarian partners, he implemented the USAID Ecolins Project. He completed a training course at the Energy Manager Training Center and received a certificate. Since 2004 he has been working as the first deputy director of the Institute of Energy Conservation and Energy Management of NTUU “KPI”.

Participates in numerous scientific conferences and seminars. He is the author of 70 scientific papers, including 3 State Standards of Ukraine and a textbook for higher education institutions. Since 1998, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Ukraine. Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology in 2005.

In 1967 he graduated with honors from the Konotop Industrial College with a degree in “Production of equipment for automation and telemechanics.”
From 1966 to 1970 he worked as a designer at the Institute of Nuclear Physics SVAN USSR (Novosibirsk).
In 1968 he joined NET, and in 1974 (after moving to Kyiv) he graduated with honors from KPI with a degree in “Electrification and automation of mining operations.” From 1974 to 1977 p. – KPI graduate student. Specialty 05.15.02. – “Development of mineral deposits”, dissertation work on “The influence of variation and correlation of the parameters of the operating mode of the cleaning combine on the lava load” was defended in 1988.
From 1978 to the present he has worked at KPI as a junior researcher, assistant professor, associate professor of engineering ecology.
During the work 16 methodical developments for students of 3 specialties were written and published, 53 scientific works in collections and journals were published, 14 R&D was executed and applied in the industry, among them 5 state budget. Engaged in the training of graduate students and masters.
He was awarded the badge “Excellence in Education of Ukraine”.
On the basis of AI Kryuchkov’s scientific researches low-energy, ecologically clean and competitive technology of drilling and blasting works at quarries is developed. With the help of CJSC “Technovibukh”, one of the founders of which is AI Kryuchkov and which employs teachers, graduate students and students of NTUU “KPI”, the new technology has been successfully implemented at Poltava GOK, TsGZK and other enterprises in Ukraine and Russia.

SOLOVEY  OLEKSANDR  IVANOVYCH

Cand. tech. Sciences, Associate Professor of Power Supply, First Deputy Director of IEE NTUU “KPI”

He was born in 1937. In 1959 p. graduated from the Mining Faculty of KPI and was left for research at the Department of Mining Electromechanics. In 1963 he entered the graduate school of the Department of Electrification and Automation of Mining. After graduation he was sent to work as an assistant of this department.

In 1970 he defended his dissertation. In 1973 he was approved as an associate professor of electrification of mining enterprises.

In 1976 -1980 pp. was on a business trip to the ANDR, where, as a teacher, he performed all kinds of educational work at Annabin University. In 1981—1988 pp. worked as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mining Electromechanics and Automation. Since 1988 he has been acting as the Deputy Head of the Department of Power Supply for educational work. Carries out work on improvement of curricula of a specialty and opening of new specializations.

Since 1997 – Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of Energy Conservation and Energy Management NTUU “KPI”, since 1998 – First Deputy Director of IEE.

In 1990 he organized a branch of the power supply department at the Irpin Industrial College (now the Ukrainian Financial and Economic Institute) and became the head of the branch department. He took an active part in bringing the curricula of the related specialty of the branch of the department in line with the plans of the Department of Power Supply and the design of the complex “Energy” for continuing education of college graduates.

He completed a training course at the Center for Training of Energy Managers in the energy audit program, has a state certificate of energy auditor.

The direction of scientific activity is the improvement of power supply systems of industrial enterprises, energy saving, saving and standardization of electricity consumption, energy audit. He has more than 70 scientific publications, including 8 state standards of Ukraine.

He worked as a member of the mining section of the scientific and technical council of the Ministry of Higher Education of Ukraine, a member of the board of the mining section of the “Knowledge” society. He was awarded two medals.

VELITCHENKO ANDRIY IHOROVYCH

Head of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.

He was born in 1980 in Kyiv. In 2003 he graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Institute of Energy Conservation and Energy Management” (KPI) with a degree in “Electromechanical automation systems and electric drive” and received a qualification of electrical engineer (in mining).

In June 2003, he was appointed to the position of Leading Specialist of the Consolidated Indicators Department of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine. In September 2003 he was transferred to the position of chief specialist of the same department.

In January 2005, he was appointed Chief Specialist of the Analytical Support Department of the Macroeconomic Analysis and Information and Analytical Support Department of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.

In April 2005 he was appointed Chief Specialist of the Department of Analytical Generalization of the Department of Intersectoral Balances and Information and Analytical Support of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.

From July 2005 to March 2006 he worked as Deputy Head of the Department for Monitoring and Improvement of Fuel and Energy Markets of the Department of Intersectoral Balances and Information and Analytical Support of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Support Department, Head of Analytical Generalizations and Summaries.

Since March 2006 he has been working as the Head of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.
