Quality of graduate preparation
The analysis of the defenses showed that the students’ level of preparation meets the requirements of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education in specialty 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics.” The competencies, knowledge, and skills of the graduates align with the objectives of the educational program “Engineering of Intelligent Electrotechnical and Mechatronic Complexes.” Project supervisors ensured thorough preparation: the presented material demonstrated students’ confident use of modern applied computer packages.
Committee comments on individual projects:
• Some technological solutions were not calculated in sufficient depth
• Certain conclusions were stated in a declarative manner
Conclusions and recommendations
The Examination Committee concludes that the preparation of bachelor-level students in the educational program “Engineering of Intelligent Electrotechnical and Mechatronic Complexes” meets the fundamental requirements for training specialists in the field of production and technology. Graduates are capable of performing complex project and technological calculations and carrying out production and technological tasks. They are prepared for professional interaction within the scientific and technical community and for solving complex specialized problems in the context of labor market transformation and cooperation with stakeholders.
The Committee recommends continuing work on deeper analysis of technological solutions in diploma projects and ensuring the formulation of practically justified conclusions.
