Discussion on the Update of Educational Programs with the Stakeholder “SV Altera Kyiv”

On April 22, a meeting took place between the working group responsible for updating the educational programs of the first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) levels of higher education in “Engineering of Intelligent Electrotechnical and Mechatronic Complexes” and representatives of the department’s stakeholder, the company “SV Altera Kyiv.” Evhenii Lysenko, Head of the Electric Drive Department, and Serhii Kliryshenko, Transtecno Product Manager, provided recommendations for the development of the educational programs. They suggested allocating more time for students to study mechatronic units and the principles of building large-scale automation systems. From the department’s side, Associate Professor Alla Bosak, the guarantor of the educational program, and Associate Professor Anton Toropov raised the issue of further support for the department’s material and technical base. The prospects for developing training stands using modern electromechatronic systems by WEG and Transtecno were discussed, with the potential to highlight their advantages when integrated into automation systems.
