On October 21, 2025, according to the department’s schedule, a guest lecture was held by our partner Olia Evstigneeva, a decarbonization expert at the Reform and Recovery Support Office of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
The lecture topic was “The Role of Bioenergy in Replacing Fossil Fuels.” It was delivered for students of the G3 “Electrical Engineering” program within the educational component “System Engineering, Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Energy Sector” for the Master’s (scientific) level.
The event generated great interest — not only scientific master’s students but also professional master’s students, PhD candidates, and interested faculty members joined the session.
A comprehensive overview of the energy sector and the prospects of bioenergy were presented in the lecture materials and actively discussed by the audience and the lecturer.
