The Department of Automation of Electrotechnical and Mechatronic Complexes hosted a meeting with 8th–11th grade students as part of the engineering week “KPISchool”. The event was dedicated to the topic “Smart Machines: How Electric Motors Choose Speed and Power on Their Own”.
Students participated in a hands-on master class on smart control of electric motors, where they explored the principles of automated speed and power selection. Additionally, they toured the department’s laboratories, learning about cutting-edge technologies in electric drives, automation of technological processes, and mechatronics.
The event provided students with valuable insights into engineering innovations and gave them a glimpse into future career opportunities in automation and electrical engineering.
