Today, May 3, 2022, the Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet announced (https://t.me/SerhiyShkarlet/841) that the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment analyzed the course of the demonstration test in the online environment and the time allotted for tasks. The commission confirmed that a certain proportion of participants do not have time to complete the last tasks of the test.

“The warnings of teachers, entrants and their parents, as well as real statistics of testing have convinced us that the duration of the test should be extended to 120 minutes. I am sure that this step will help everyone to enter the dream institution of higher education, showing their highest result during the BMI, “said Sergei Shkarlet.

The Minister also said that educators and parents are convinced that the test is meaningful, comprehensive, uncluttered and will be an effective tool for selecting entrants to higher education institutions in a full-scale war. However, teachers and parents of entrants unanimously noted that the time allotted for the implementation of the three blocks of tasks is not enough.
