Students and lecturers of the AEMС Department, together with students and lecturers of the Educational and Scientific Institute of IATE, visited a solar power plant located in the village of Arbuzynka, Mykolaiv region. The power plant was built by Advansys — a leader in engineering and construction solutions that specializes in creating energy-efficient commercial and industrial properties. Using innovative technologies to optimize projects, the company provides clients with comprehensive engineering and energy-efficient solutions for sustainable construction and operation of industrial and commercial facilities.

Despite the ongoing war and challenging economic conditions, the company continues to grow and implement sustainable development projects.

During the visit, students met with the company’s co-founders and managers, learned about the stages of building a solar power plant, and received detailed information about the generating, distribution, and auxiliary equipment used. Special attention was given to the practical implementation of the project — from site selection and justification to the commissioning process.

Visitors also toured the power plant itself, where they explored the facility’s layout and received insights into dispatching and technical maintenance processes.

Each participant gained valuable knowledge and unforgettable impressions from the trip — and even received power banks charged with clean solar energy 🙂
