The 10th Anniversary International Conference “Theory and Practice of Rational Use of Traditional and Alternative Fuels and Lubricants” was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (July 1-4, 2025).
This chemical conference is a traditional branded scientific event in Ukraine and the world in the relevant field of rational use of traditional and alternative energy resources and operating materials of various functional purposes during the operation of equipment. This year, 220 participants arrived at the anniversary conference, including:
- 20 participants from other countries (Turkey, France, Italy, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Poland, Lithuania, Slovenia, Slovakia, China);
- 32 young scientists;
- representatives of 20 universities of Ukraine, 10 foreign universities, 10 research institutions, in particular, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as 27 partner organizations of professional practitioners, 7 of them public organizations.

The highlight of the conference opening was the Solemn and Charitable Ceremonial by Bandura Music performed by Honored Artist of Ukraine Larisa Dedyukh and People’s Artist of Ukraine Roman Hrynkiv.
The conference was held
within the framework of the national project of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine “Experimental and analytical principles of reliability of dual-purpose aviation equipment by improving the technology of using aviation fuels in accordance with the requirements of ASTM and NATO standards”, as well as
within the framework of the national project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “”Development of technological solutions for obtaining composite motor fuels from secondary raw materials to increase energy security””.
During the active and intense work, the conference participants found new partners for scientific and technical cooperation, exchange of positive practices, practical and scientific results, as well as for the purpose of expanding the internationalization of scientific activity through participation in joint international and domestic scientific and educational programs.
