The administration of IEE and PJSC “DTEK KYIV REGIONAL ELECTRICAL NETWORKS” have concluded tripartite agreements with students of IEE specialty 141 – Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics on the dual form of higher education for students of bachelor’s and bachelor’s degree programs. The purpose of this form of education is to combine the education of students in educational institutions with training and work in the workplaces of specialized enterprises. This brings education closer to the specific conditions of production and reduces the period of adaptation of the graduate in his future job.
In these agreements, individual plans provide for more detailed and adapted training in real production conditions in the following disciplines:

• relay protection and automation of power systems;
• technical diagnostic systems;
• dispatching of distribution electric networks;
• regulatory and legal support in energy;
• rules of arrangement of electrical installations;
• Occupational Health;
• undergraduate practice with internship as a dispatcher, duplication as a dispatcher, testing of knowledge on work technology, operational and production instructions.
  The term of the dual form of training falls on the final year of study of the bachelor or master. The training schedule includes at least one day on a Sunday at the company. Before graduation, students receive 1 year of work experience reflected in the employment record book and salary while maintaining the scholarship, and after graduation – the possibility of permanent employment in the regional offices of PJSC DTEK Kyiv region and Kyiv.
